Information Systems

The main function of the Information Systems (IS) support staff is to customize and support the whole spectrum of information systems required by the School of Design and Environment (SDE) in order to support its operational and decision-support needs. The scope of work includes the following areas:

• Customization of the university integrated management information system to serve the needs of SDE staff and students
  
• SDE Electronics Document System
  
• Supply departments with statistics and information for decision making
  
• Assist departments in analyzing their information needs
  
• Computerize manual processes to make administration more efficient
  
• Development and Maintenance of SDE database systems
  
• Administrator to SDE applications servers
  
• Coordinating of network security within SDE
